Platinum Edu-Tech Consult Nigeria Ltd is a Nigerian Research Technology (ResearchTech) company. Following a strategic restructuring, we transitioned from traditional educational software into a specialized ResearchTech company — now operating three flagship platforms: Chapter2 AI, Cognita and Manuscripta AI.
With the launch of Manuscripta AI, the company is now an end-to-end ResearchTech firm: Chapter2 helps researchers produce high-quality work, Cognita gives institutions governance and oversight of that research, and Manuscripta AI carries the resulting manuscripts through peer review into published, indexed literature — closing the loop from idea to publication under one umbrella.
We build intelligent digital infrastructure that transforms how research is created, supervised, governed, published, monitored and commercialized across Africa — serving universities, research institutes, journals and university presses, government agencies, regulators, researchers, innovation hubs and development organizations.
Market Opportunity
Africa is home to over 1,400 universities, thousands of research institutes, and a rapidly growing base of researchers and postgraduate students. Yet no incumbent owns the Research Technology category on the continent. Global ResearchTech (Elsevier, Clarivate, Digital Science) is built for Western institutions; incumbent journal systems (ScholarOne, Editorial Manager, OJS) are workflow-first rather than intelligence-first, and are priced for large international publishers.
